Modes Boutique | Design Andrea Caputo

ALPI wood enhances the space of a new interior design project by Andrea Caputo for Modes Boutique, the exclusive multi-brand clothing store at Piazza Risorgimento in Milan. The designers have selected various ALPI briar models from the Wood Collection, with a contemporary look and warm tones to cover walls, shelves, cabinets and other display fixtures, adding refined elegance to the setting.
In particular, the architects have matched the pale tones of ALPI Myrtle Burl with the intense hues of ALPI California Burl, as well as the hazelnut tones of ALPI Walnut Burl and ALPI Elm Burl, creating a unique game of colors and finishes. The use of ALPI briar is perfectly in line with the design concept of the store: that of combining noble materials like briar with humble ones, deployed on simple forms. This approach can be seen in the design of the display walls along the main backdrop of the store, and in the platforms, autonomous elements that establish a dialogue with the central aluminium display fixtures.
